You can almost visualize a soldier in a WWII movie checking his watch in battle and seeing one just like this Orvin!

Built in the WWII era this watch has a chrome case that measures 31 mm across, excluding cushion crown and lugs that surrounds an evenly aged parchment dial complimented by, no longer luminous black syringe hour and minute hands, black center sweep, bold black numbers and outer chapter.

It is signed ORVIN, INCABLOC, NON MAGNETIC, and WATER RESISTANT *

This watch has obviously been treated well over the past 8 decades as the Swiss 17 jewel, manual wind movement, signed R. Gsell & Co. sets and winds smoothly, is running well and keeping good time.

It has a screw-down back and has been fitted with a vintage 15 mm, stainless steel flex band.

    * Unless otherwise stated, I sell all vintage watches as not water resistant.
