This has to be one of the best-preserved Soviet non-military watches we have had the pleasure to offer.

Manufactured in the former USSR at the SLAVA (Second Moscow Watch Factory) in the 1970's, this watch features an oversize chrome-over-brass case that measures a generous 39 mm across, excluding crown and lugs.

The dial is soft butter yellow, contrasting starkly against black hour and minute hands, yellow center sweep, black Roman numerals and both day and quick set date windows at 3 o'clock, all under a bright, clear, domed crystal. Please note the day window on this watch is only in Russian, and the date advances by pushing the button above the crown.

The manual wind movements produced in Russia during this time are considered among the most durable and accurate available and this 26 jewel beauty sets and winds effortlessly, is running strong, and keeping excellent time.

This excellent timepiece features a screw down back and has been fitted with a new genuine leather 18 mm black strap with stainless buckle.

Please Note: All of my vintage Soviet watches are serviced and restored by professionals in The Ukraine. Their shops are now shuttered during the conflict there. We hope that peace is restored soon and that we can, once again, offer their products to you.
