Manufactured in Switzerland by revered Continental Watch Company in the 1940's this beauty features an all polished stainless steel 32 mm case, excluding cushion crown and lugs.

The flawless soft silver military dial is complimented by silver hour and minute hands, red center sweep second hand, raised gold numbers, and black outer chapter, all under a bright new domed crystal.

The caliber NMX 17 jewel Swiss incabloc movement manufactured by Choisi Watch Company (renowned for their quality), sets and winds effortlessly, is running strong, and keeping very good time.

This beautiful timepiece features a screw-down back and has been fitted with a supple new 15 mm brown stitched leather strap with with stainless buckle.

The definitive registration of Continental brand dates to 13th September 1924, by the company Schild et Cie, Manufacture des Montres Octava, Hebdomas et Orator, La Chaux-de-Fonds. INFOSUISSE carries records on history of Continental much earlier than 1924 with the first known registrations appearing in 1881 and Julien Gallet, Chaux-de-Fonds being the first owner. At this time, Continental was registered as Continental Time Keeper / Continental Watch Co. Schild et Cie became a well-known producer of Continental Pocket Watches, exporting these watches to United States of America.
