Rare men's vintage 1950's Sormel (Shriro Watch Company) French 17 jewel incabloc military wristwatch

Manufactured in France by this is a vintage military Sormel 17 jewel wristwatch from the 1950's, made by the Shriro Watch Company.

The 32 mm, excluding cushion crown and lugs, polished stainless steel case surrounds a parchment dial complimented with gold hour, minute and sweep seconds hands, raised gold numbers and markers, and outer chapter.

The dial is in very good condition, considering almost 70 years of service, the domed crystal has just been replaced, and the 17 jewel, manual wind incabloc movement, is running well and keeping very good time.

It has a stainless steel, screw-down back and is matched with a vintage 18 mm Speidel flex bracelet band.
