This is a vintage, WWII, 1940's men's HELMA Swiss military trench wristwatch, over 80 years old that is in UNRESTORED, remarkable running and cosmetic condition.
The slightly oversize chrome plated steel case measures 33.5 mm / 1.32" in diameter, excluding crown and fixed lugs, and wears it's battle scars proudly.
The parchment dial shows even wear over the decades and is complimented by gold hour and minute hands, and the gold Arabic numbers and dot markers are clear and distinct.
It has a black outer chapter, a gold sub-dial @ 6 o'clock, a unique contemporary trench art of 2 tanks, and is inscribed HELMA ANTIMAGNETIC SWISS, all under a clear, near-perfect crystal.
The Swiss 15 jewel ARLEA movement sets and winds as it should and is keeping very good time.
It has a stainless steel, snap-down back and has been fitted with a new olive green, premium 1-piece ballistic nylon, 17 mm strap which suits it perfectly
