It happens every once-in-a-while when a watch passes through my hands and I am very tempted to keep it for myself. Such is the case with this stunning, very rare, vintage 1960's Swiss wristwatch from the Ingraham Watch Company
This beautiful timepiece features a 34.2 mm / 1.34" diameter case, excluding crown and lugs, and a unique ivory bezel with raised gold markers, that surrounds a beautiful guilloche soft linen dial, simply signed Ingraham, Antimagnetic, and Swiss Made.
The Swiss1 jewel movement sets and winds as it should, is running strong, and keeping very good time.
It has a snap-down back and is matched with a very nice gold-capped stainless steel flex bracelet.

The Ingraham Clock and Watch Company was founded in 1831 by Elias Ingraham in Bristol, Conn, and is known as a manufacturer of clocks and a variety of the famous "Dollar" pocket watches for sold over many generations.
The company closed in 1967 but, for a brief period, manufactured wristwatches with Swiss movements. There are very few of the watches still available and the majority of them are in poor condition and not working.
This particular timepiece, however, is a rare survivor that could be pulled out of a jewelry case today which is why it is so special!
We are Stonehenge Watch Company and have been selling vintage timepieces and new watches on the internet for over 18 years with hundreds of happy, satisfied, often repeat customers.
