Vintage men's 1940's Swiss Croton Accurator 17 jewel, all stainless steel, wristwatch, runs well!

We are happy to offer this rare, well-preserved vintage, highly respected, 1940's Croton Accurator men's wristwatch.

It features a 31.2 mm / 1.22" stainless steel case and back, excluding crown and lugs, that surrounds an evenly-aged parchment dial, complimented by gold hour, minute, and sweep center hands, raised gold Arabic numbers and baton markers, black outer chapter.

The Swiss 17 jewel movement sets and winds it should, is running great and keeping excellent time.


It has a screw-down back and is matched with a new brown stitched and embossed genuine leather strap with stainless buckle.

The Croton Watch company was founded in the late 1800s in a tiny workshop in Crotone— a little village located somewhere along the borders of Switzerland and Italy.

The founders of this company drew inspiration from the impeccable nature of both regions and their inhabitants. He had also stated that Nationwide Time is about to build a brand that would be around for centuries to come. Looking back now, no one can say the company has failed its mandate. Croton watches are internationally recognized. Even without an active PR, the company is still making reasonable sales each quarter.

Croton watches are known worldwide for their classic designs and styles. They currently operate from New Jersey, USA; their headquarters moved from Europe soon after the company was acquired.
