We are delighted to offer this beautiful men's WWII era, 1940's Swiss Royce 15 jewel, gold military wristwatch.

The 10 Microns gold plated case measures 1.2" in diameter, excluding crown and lugs. It features a flawless silver and gold military dial complimented by gold syringe hour and minute hands, raised ivory, Arabic numbers, black against silver outer chapter, and sub-second dial @ 6 o'clock, all under a clear domed crystal.

The 15 jewel Swiss made, lever movement was recently serviced. It sets and winds as it should, is running strong and keeping very good time.

It has a snap-down stainless back and is matched with a supple new stitched brown embossed genuine leather strap with gold buckle.

ABOUT THE BRAND:

S. Kocher was founded in Granges in 1918. By the 1970s, they sold mass-market and upscale watches with the Eska and Royce brands. Although originally differentiated, these brands came together as “sisters” in the 1970s and 1980s. Royce became a sporting brand while Eska focused on the high end.

Kocher was slow to adopt quartz movements and struggled through the late 1970s and early 1980s. The company abandoned manufacturing at this time in order to focus on licensing and design. The last appearance of these brands at a major show was 1986.
