Very rare 1940's men's WWII Croton Vindicator men's Swiss 17 jewel military wristwatch. Running well.

This is a very rare Swiss Croton men's vintage WWII 17 jewel military wristwatch in very good running and cosmetic condition.

The all stainless steel case measures 38.1 mm / 1.5", excluding crown and lugs, that surrounds an evenly-aged, well-preserved, champagne dial, complimented by once luminous, now dimmed, black hour and minute hands, gold spear center second hand, raised black numbers, and black outer chapter against a white background, all under a bright new crystal.

Built for rugged use, it features a unique clam-shell, case within a case for optimal water resistance, secured by 4 screws to insure the Swiss, 17 jewel incabloc movement is securely protected.

It has been matched with a 16 mm, new brown genuine leather and fabric strap with stainless steel buckle.
