Manufactured in the USA in the 1970's this is a very well preserved Westclox, size 16, "The Conductor" railroad pocket watch.
The gold plated case measures 1.97" or 49.8mm across, excluding crown and bow and surrounds a crisp white dial complimented by luminous black spade hour and whip minute hands large black, easy-to-read Roman Numerals, ornate gold accents, black outer chapter, and gold recessed subsecond dial at 6 o'clock.
The back of this beautiful timepiece is engraved with a image of a vintage steam locomotive celebrating the contribution of the pocket watch to the train industry.
This rare pocket watch sets and winds effortlessly, is running strong and keeping good time.
